Rest in Peace, Alexander McQueen

I am terrified by news of the death of one of the greatest, and most creative designers ever, Alexander McQueen (who was only 40 years old!). His body was found this morning in his London flat, and police are treating the death as "very suspicious", or in simpler terms, probably a treating it as a suicide case. His dramatic designs starting to form the catalyst into extreme fashion, but he was never one to succeed in commercial business. He founded his own brand, Alexander McQueen, and sold the Gucci Group in 2000,  and also was behind the French label Givenchy, which he will now not be attending at Paris Fashion Week in less than a month from now. This news seems like a terrible omen for the beginning of NYC Fashion Week which started this morning. News articles say that the "News of Mr. McQueen's death came as New York fashion week kicked off, sending shock waves through the industry". The editor of British Vogue, Alexandra Shulman, said "At one level he was a master of the fantastic, creating astounding fashions shows that mixed design, technology and performance and on another he was a modern day genius whose gothic aesthetic was adopted by women the world over."

His mastery in the fashion world will be deeply missed. Rest In Peace.
