Model as Muse
Kate Moss even holds her status as a muse in the art world - Moss keeps on showing us that she is more than a vapid, skinny model. The images below are all by esteemed artists:
-first image is the icon wearing the recognizable signature of Warhol by Banksy
-second image is by great British artist, Tracey Emin
- third image is by amazing figurative artist, Lucian Freud
-forth image is by Chuck Close

Girl Crush
Another Kate Moss image...this was one that was presented at the MET's 'The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion' exhibition, she is wearing Helmut Lang, from BAZAAR, November 1996, and was shot by photographer Craig McDean:
More from the exhibition - Twiggy shot by Bert Stern, she is wearing YSL for Vogue March 1967:
To Do
So by recently dying my hair very blond, I have now become a little obsessed with it. Buying shampoos to highlight the color, watching my roots grow in - SO exciting. But above and below, are images (yes, Kate Moss again) of what exactly I want my hair to look like in the near future. Much blonder, a white blond. And maybe, just maybe, I will cut it. But I don't really see that happening:
Charme!
And once again, my I present...Kate Moss. Here she is in her early 90's days, looking absolutely stunning in Vogue Italia 1992, photographed by Ellen Von Unworth. I love the chic innocence about these photographs, and the elegant quirkiness about Moss.
Stuck on Stripes
Kate Moss in Vogue Paris October 2009. Love her striped shirt with elbow pads. I've been seeing this shirt everywhere, but can't seem to pinpoint the designer of it. I am currently lusting over everything striped, from Bimba & Lola to vintage St. John shirts. I would also love to find a great leopard print jacket like hers, but my budget now only leads my to ebay brousing, and my findings do no justice to the infamous 'Kate Moss leopard print jacket'.
Kate the Great
Yes, I might have a slight obsession with Kate Moss, but who doesn't? It's a platonic love I'm eager to exploit. In the Times Sunday Style magazine this morning, I read a clip of what Kate Moss had to say about her new handbag collection for Longchamp. She trying to bring back the classic 'envelope' clutch from the 30's and more accessible bags for women, with a textured leather that already has that used and worn in feeling. It was announced last week that Moss will be designing multi-seasons for the luxury brand - and to my surprise, I think she will actually be pretty successful with this. Not many model/designers really make it save Erin Wasson with her jewelry collection for Alexander Wang and RVCA. Looking through Moss's line, I especially love the gray medium sized tote and the green clutch. But considering my lack of income at the moment, these bags definitely won't be in my arms for a long time. EBAY! Below are some example of her new line:

And just for fun, below is Moss shot by Craig McDean:
