Can't seem to come off of my 'Wang High' - so here is some more about the designer. For Interview's March 2010 issue there is an amazing spread and article about him. Basically, the article entails how much everyone loves him, and that he has created a perfect and innovative image for women. The shoot included the esteemed designer himself, Erin Wasson (!!!!!!), Alice Dellal, Natasa Vojnovic, Mirte Maas, etc. And they were photographed by Mikael Jansson. Enjoy!

Finally!
I was in NYC today, passing through via Boston, and of course I had to stop by Opening Ceremony. I was almost drooling outside 35 Howard Street when I saw the Levi x Opening Ceremony pieces and Alexander Wang through the shop windows. They have an amazing collection of Alexander Wang there, including his line for Linda Farrow, and his less expensive line, T by Alexander Wang. I still can't believe that he showed his first collection at age 19 - dexterous designer! And drum roll please....I finally have my own piece of clothing from his Spring/Summer 2010 collection - the leather-detail sweatshirt (image below). He had a whole series of sweatshirt and leather inspired pieces. I love the way he mixes the casual material with leather, absolutely perfect. I also had my eyes on the red and white striped mini shorts with apron. I can't even begin to describe my sudden love for stripes, my inner new-wave-French-actress is acting out. The sweatshirt is amazing; perfect relaxed fit and an awesome wrap around leather tie. One thing is definitely checked off my bucket list...
Lust
T by Alexander Wang is now available at Opening Ceremony! And this line looks comfortable to wear and to BUY! All pieces are under $100. Definitely into the sweatshorts and simple tees.
to the T
Alexander Wang never had advertisements for his previous collections - but now I hear he will be displaying huge billboards for his new line of T by Alexander Wang in NYC. Billboards will consist of images bellow:

Always Ready-To-Wear Wang
Just looking through Style.com's spring 2010 ready-to-wear designer archives, and have realized how much I love Alexander Wang. I have been a fan since his first show, and the jewelry collaboration with Erin Wasson. Also, everybody seems to love this poofy braid thing - the look seen in the recent editorial in January 2010 American Vogue, model Kasia Struss and shot by David Sims
