OOh...only Terry Richardson could make an editorial so attractive and yet so repulsive...I love all of the models in this shoot (Abbey Lee, Crystal Renn, and Eniko) and the "idea" around it, but it doesn't really seem to work...nevertheless, it was in Vogue Paris and I can never really say that anything in it was bad!

Goldfinger

Abbey Lee is a 'Space Cadet' in i-D's Spring 2010 issue- and I can't help but think of the timeless James Bond movie 'Goldfinger'. In a beginning scene, actress Shirley Eaton's character was killed by her skin not being able to breath, from being covered in gold paint. There was an urban myth surrounding the movie that this actress actually died during the filming of this movie, because of the paint (others say it was a body double). This story was also the text behind the cover of Life magazine's 1964 issue:

Lust

I have recently been loving every bit of Ann Demeulemeester's line (above). Her very innovative leather pieces seem almost intimidating to wear. Here is one of her designs, a leather belt from the "Come As You Are" editorial, shot by Greg Kadel with Model Abbey Lee in Vogue Australia September 2009:

I found the wild thing

Of course from the influence of the movie, "Where the Wild Things Are", here Abbey Lee is in magazine, Dazed & Confused Volume II #80, shot by photographer Daniel Jackson. I thought it was very surprising to see how much fashion influence came from that movie. Remember the movie inspired line at Opening Ceremony, their collaboration with Spike Jonze? (The fur skirts were pretty cool, but a pretty fucking penny though)

Lust

Look at this beautiful girl. I can't seem to remember the magazine it's from, her name, etc., BUT, look at those leather shorts! Amazing! I am definitely changing my opinion about leather being an acceptable piece other than a jacket (leather shorts and shirts are on my wanted list). These shorts are leaving me in a strange and desperate daze - I must try to find shorts like these:
